I have never been there! Stevie Nicks said she loves playing in that venue! Very cool video! I lived in Grand Junction Colorado and wanted to see her there! Saw her at Star Lake Ampitheatre instead!
Yes jam bands bring a sense of community to a society where that seems to be diminishing. Many of the same people will follow a particular band of their liking so when you run into these faces you feel more comfortable. The music is usually great some shows better then others but its really about the fans and coming together with like minded people.
I have not had the chance to see a band at red rocks, however I was there. Its so amazing.
